About the event
BBR Indie Films is an initiative of Artists Rock the MIC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded by Featured Grammy-nominated artist and Telly Award-winning filmmaker Oleathia "Butta B-Rocka" Robinson.
We champion independent filmmakers by providing a professional platform to showcase their work, connect with industry professionals, and grow within a supportive creative community. Every BBR event features curated short film screenings, celebrity guest panelists, red carpet experiences, and genuine industry networking — all under one roof.
Since 2023 BBR Indie Films has hosted consecutive sold-out events, welcomed over 63+ celebrity guest panelists, and built a community of over 2,700+ filmmakers from across the United States and internationally.
We believe every story deserves a screen and every creator deserves a stage.
